Involved in Canadian racing for over 3 decades, the Tractech Enterprises Racing Team has earned an impressive collection of trophies and awards from a variety of sprint and endurance racing series. With primary driver Terry Di Francesco at the helm and Katia Di Francesco as team manager, Tractech has established itself as a team to be reckoned with in every racing event entered.

Off-season activities for the Tractech Racing Team include the two-day HRC Horizon Performance Driving School, held every April. Terry is a licensed instructor at this popular event, which is co-organized by Katia and attracts an average of 40 aspiring racing drivers from across Ontario. (Terry was also a frequent instructor at the Labatt Road Scholarship program for the general driving public). In addition, Terry instructs with the BMW Driver Training School, Dexter Motorsport Lapping at Mosport and the Ferrari Club of Ontario.

Tractech Racing Team Record
  • 1966 began racing career riding motorcycles and racing a Mini Cooper GT race car
  • 1972 co-built the first Honda GT race car
  • 1979 entered the Honda/BFGoodrich Challenge Series which led to many top five finishes
  • 1984 & 1987 runner-up in Honda/Michelin Challenge Series
  • 1987 Canadian Nationals Champion
  • 1987 first non-Quebec driver to win Honda/Michelin event at Canadian Grand Prix
  • 1988 Honda/Michelin Series Champion
  • 1990 3rd in class in Firestone Firehawk Challenge Series
  • 1991 winner of the 24hr race at Mosport Park in the Touring Class and 2nd overall behind a Porsche 944 with a second place finish in the Championship the same year
  • 1992 won the Sports Class (Toyota MR2 Turbo) race at the Molson Indy in Toronto and finished 2nd overall in the championship
  • 1993 many top 3 finishes with a 3rd overall in the Canadian Endurance Road Racing Championship (Toyota MR2 Turbo)
  • 1994 1st overall in class in the Valvoline Touring Car Championship as well as winner of the Canaska Cup race at Shannonville Motorsport Park (Toyota MR2 Turbo)
  • 1995 Tractech developed the FIRST Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3 16 valve in Canada to compete in the Valvoline Touring Car Grand Sports Class. Placed 3rd in the Canaska Cup race at Shannonville finishing the year 7th overall in the championship
  • 1996 (Toyota MR2 Turbo) many top 3 finishes in Ontario Region 1 hour endurance races
  • 1997 (Toyota MR2 Turbo) many top 3 finishes in Canada Challenge Cup GT Series
  • 1998 (Toyota MR2 Turbo) competed in one Ontario Challenge Cup race finishing 3rd
